Agatha Oddlow is a very intelligent, brave and a bold thirteen year old girl who aspires to become a great detective one day, just as her mother. Her mother died at Agatha's tender age and she finds out that her mother was a part of a secret society known as the Gatekeeper's Guild. The members of this society are given a special kind of a key which opens the gates to underground passages that connects the whole of London.

This book mainly focuses on a murder that has taken place in the British museum. Although police is investigating but she thinks that there is a larger plot that they are missing. It also covers her trials that she has to pass to become a member of the Gatekeeper's Guild. Various actions and situations has been beautifully woven in this story with skillful play of words which engulfs a reader.

If you are thinking that Lena Jones is an actual writer then you are mistaken. Lena Jones is a fictional writer and this book is written by a group of creative writers but they decided to stick to the name of Lena Jones.

As a teenager I really find Agatha's thought process so much similar to mine. If you are one of those people who are able to visualize the scenes of the story as they read then this is your jam! This book not only shares a beautiful story but also a lot of emotions, information and skills. I'm amazed to read how she manages her problems so gracefully. I really appreciate the writing of Lena Jones in this book. The details of every situation is so intricately written that you can almost see it happen in front of your eyes. Agatha might have many enemies and many problems but its the support of her dad and friends that makes it easier for her to face all her challenges. Agatha according to me is very inspirational character. This showcases a very beautiful mother-daughter relation. Whatever she is doing adds up to the greater benefit of her late mother. The more I read the story the deeper I sink into it.
